TWIN SERPENTS
Privacy policy.
How Random Gates handles information when you play Twin Serpents.
Effective October 20, 2026
Overview
Twin Serpents is a game made by Random Gates. You can play without creating an account. The game saves your progress on your device. If you choose online multiplayer, it connects directly to another player using IP addresses.
Information and use
Progress on your device
The game stores level progress and unlocks locally on your device so you can continue playing. Random Gates does not receive this saved progress through ordinary solo play.
Online multiplayer
If you host or join an online game, the game uses IP addresses to establish a direct connection between players. The host’s IP address is shown in the multiplayer lobby so it can be shared with a friend. During a session, the game exchanges gameplay state and level progress needed to play together. The other player’s device can see the IP address used for that connection. Random Gates does not run a gameplay server for these sessions.
Public IP lookup
When you host an online game, the game makes a request to ipify to display your public IP address. That request exposes your IP address to ipify. Its handling of the request is described by ipify’s privacy policy.
Messages you send us
If you use the contact form on the Random Gates website, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. We use them to respond to your inquiry.
Retention and choices
Saved progress remains on your device until you reset progress in the game, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall it. Direct multiplayer information is used for the session and is not stored by Random Gates on a gameplay server. You can avoid sharing your IP address with another player by not using online multiplayer.
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and related records. You can ask us to delete a message you sent through the website using the contact link below.
Security
The public IP lookup uses HTTPS. Online games use a direct network connection between players; only connect with people you trust, and avoid posting your IP address publicly. We limit access to contact messages to those who need to answer them.
Children
Twin Serpents does not ask players to create an account or submit personal details in the game. If a child uses online multiplayer, their device’s IP address is shared as described above. Parents and guardians can contact us with privacy questions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the game or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last updated.
